A return to work certificate, also called a fitness for work or medical clearance note, confirms you are well enough to go back to your job. From Saanich, you can have the full assessment by secure video or phone with a Canadian licensed provider. The assessment visit is $80, and the $60 certificate fee is charged only if you are cleared.
Book Return to Work Assessment$80 assessment visit · $60 certificate only if approved

TelePlus Care issues return to work certificates in Saanich only after a full assessment with a Canadian licensed provider. The assessment visit is $80. The $60 certificate fee applies only if you are cleared to return; otherwise there is no certificate fee.
Clinical content is reviewed for accuracy and scope. TelePlus Care appointments go ahead only when a doctor agrees it is the right call, after a real assessment, and the doctor will explain the next step if virtual care is not the right fit.
Clinic waits around Greater Victoria can stretch longer than the illness itself, which can hold up your return to work. If your employer asks for a medical clearance after an illness or injury, a full assessment by secure video or phone is another way to get a decision. The provider talks through your recovery and what your job asks of you.
This is different from an ordinary doctor's note. A note covers the days you missed; a return to work certificate states that you are fit to resume your job, sets your return date and, if the provider thinks it is needed, lists temporary limits such as lighter duties or shorter shifts.

The certificate is never issued on request alone. A provider first needs to understand what happened, how you are recovering and what your job involves.

Pricing comes in two parts. The assessment visit is billed like any other TelePlus Care appointment, and the certificate fee applies only when the provider clears you.
Not every visit ends with a clearance. If it is too soon, or the provider needs a specialist report, test results or a hands-on exam first, there is no $60 certificate fee. The provider explains the next step, which could be more time off, a follow-up or an in-person visit.
Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals serve Saanich and the Greater Victoria region if the provider wants you seen in person. 8-1-1 HealthLink BC gives free nurse advice if you are unsure where to go.

Bringing these to the visit usually means the provider can decide the same day.
