If your employer in Saskatchewan wants written confirmation that you are fit to return, start with a full assessment visit with a TelePlus Care provider by secure video or phone. The provider looks at your recovery and what your job asks of you before deciding. The assessment visit is $80, and the $60 certificate fee is charged only if you are cleared.
Book Return to Work Assessment$80 assessment visit · $60 certificate only if approved

In Saskatchewan, a TelePlus Care return to work certificate is issued only after a full assessment visit with a Canadian licensed provider. The assessment visit is $80. If the provider clears you to return, the certificate is $60. If not, there is no certificate fee.
Clinical content is reviewed for accuracy and scope. TelePlus Care appointments go ahead only when a doctor agrees it is the right call, after a real assessment, and the doctor will explain the next step if virtual care is not the right fit.
Long distances, and the rotation schedules many people work, can make a clinic trip hard to arrange during recovery. After an illness or injury, an employer may ask for written clearance before your next shift or rotation. A secure video or phone visit lets a provider assess you from home.
Employers often ask for this instead of a sick note. A sick note explains an absence, while the certificate confirms you can safely go back, names the date you return and can set out temporary restrictions, for example lighter work or reduced hours.

Every certificate starts with a full assessment visit. The provider decides after hearing about your illness or injury, your recovery and your duties at work.

There are two separate charges, and you only pay the second one if you are cleared. The assessment visit is billed like a regular TelePlus Care appointment.
The provider may decide you need more recovery time, or may want more information first, such as test results, a specialist report or an in-person exam. If so, the $60 certificate fee is not charged, and you are told what comes next: more time off, a follow-up visit or an in-person appointment.
If you need to be examined in person, emergency departments serving the province include those in Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert. HealthLine 811 gives free nurse advice when you are not sure where to go.
