Going back to work in Delta after an illness or injury, and your employer wants a medical clearance note? A TelePlus Care provider meets you by secure video or phone for a full assessment of your recovery and your job duties, then decides whether you are ready. The assessment visit is $80, and the $60 certificate fee is charged only if you are cleared.
Book Return to Work Assessment$80 assessment visit · $60 certificate only if approved

TelePlus Care issues return to work certificates in Delta only after a full assessment with a Canadian licensed provider. The assessment visit is $80. The $60 certificate fee applies only if you are cleared to return; otherwise there is no certificate fee.
Clinical content is reviewed for accuracy and scope. TelePlus Care appointments go ahead only when a doctor agrees it is the right call, after a real assessment, and the doctor will explain the next step if virtual care is not the right fit.
Port work and farming set much of the local pace, and both run on schedules that depend on absences and returns being documented. If you are going back after an illness or injury, your employer may want a medical clearance first. You can do the full assessment from home in Ladner or Tsawwassen by secure video or phone.
This is different from an ordinary doctor's note. A note covers the days you missed; a return to work certificate states that you are fit to resume your job, sets your return date and, if the provider thinks it is needed, lists temporary limits such as lighter duties or shorter shifts.

Clearing someone to return to work is a medical decision, so it always starts with a full visit. Nothing is signed before the provider has talked with you.

Pricing comes in two parts. The assessment visit is billed like any other TelePlus Care appointment, and the certificate fee applies only when the provider clears you.
Sometimes it is too early to go back, or the provider needs more information first, such as a specialist report, test results or an in-person exam. In that case you are not charged the $60 certificate fee, and the provider explains the next step. That may be more time off, a follow-up visit, or seeing a doctor in person.
Delta Hospital serves Ladner, Tsawwassen and the surrounding Metro Vancouver area if the provider wants you seen in person. Free nurse advice is available through 8-1-1 HealthLink BC when you are not sure where to go.

Bringing these to the visit usually means the provider can decide the same day.
